About Us

So.... why this site?

Anyway, welcome along to my little corner of the Internet. I hope you have a good time here, browsing some of the useful information on this website.

ghana colors/jerseyAs you can see, I'm a full blooded Ghanaian and I just love my country.

I don't know everything about Ghana, but I can tell you what I've discovered about this paradise on earth.

I'm quite sure many of you reading this will have more knowledge about Ghana than I do.

Anyway lets move on........

By the way, my name is simply Nana. I enjoy traveling around Ghana and the world.

I did most of the traveling in Ghana with my Dad when I was a teenager

and still discovering some virgin places a lot of Ghanaians don't even know exited.

I was born in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region. I lived most of my childhood life in Takoradi in the Western Region. I moved to Koforidua to live with my grandmother in the late 80's for about a year and then joined my Dad in Accra after that.

My secondary or high school was Mfantsipim, the first secondary school in Ghana, built by the British in the Colonial era. This was inCape Coast, the Central Region, and then.......

In the mid 90's I started my undergraduate program in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in the Ashanti Region, and to be precise, in Kumasi.

So you can see, I've lived and been to most places in Ghana and still discovering and learning more about Ghana.

As I started traveling outside Ghana, I met people who were very interested in Ghana. Some had little or no idea at all about Ghana or worse, never heard of it.

So I decided to build this site to share my passion about my motherland Ghana, with you and the entire world.

Below is a snap shot of me and my friends at home in Woodbridge, Virginia enjoying the 2008 African Cup of Nations hosted in Ghana.
