Been good working with this charity in Ghana.Great volunteer jobs and full of cultural adventures. I work here with street kids in Osu, where I stayed most of my project time teaching English language and Mathematics before I have to travel to continue my second placement on the HIV/AIDS awareness project in Koforidua. I enjoyed my placement with the PCN, the staff are most helpful on the field and more flexible at attend to you. Ghana is blessed with trees and beautiful cultures, living in Effiduase village, made me loved plants and may more. On the HIV/AIDS project we visit local schools in the village to educate the pupils about the virus and how it can be prevented. I learn many new things and I return home with much joy and feeling I have gained much as considered. Will love to travel again in the near future with my family to work with Prime Care Network. I will like to use this opportunity to show my appreciation and gratitude to the management and staff of Prime Care Network. The most will go to the founder Michael...,who has been so mentoring as far as I consider his hard working on the projects and never gets time to rest a bit....,hahaha, I know when he sees this he will laugh. Without Prime Care Network, my dream would not be put to live. I feel better and will always tell my friends about the project in Ghana. Feb 06, 2014 Rating My past experience with Prime Care Network in Ghana by: Anonymous My name is Alice Newton from Colorado,USA.I work as a volunteer with Prime Care Network on the street kids project for couple of a month in Ghana.I was amazed to join the PCN group and enjoyed my working with them.Very flexible to swift to any project of your choice and learning new things.What amazed me most was Michael Torto,The founder and director of PCN. He is the type I will say have helped me in so many ways during my time in Ghana.He always comes together to work with me and other international volunteers on the project.Very busy young man who is always ready to help us on the field.The street kids are wonderful kids and they will be around you everywhere you go.Most of them will say madam Alice...can we go with you to your home,and I will say my home is Ghana...,some sort of jokes and playing with them.My host family too was great and teaching me Ghanaian ways of lives and cultures.Anyone who wanted to go to Africa to volunteer must contact www.pcnprojects.org for assistance.

I believe Michael does profit from the organization and leaves you to rest where you are confined to your room; and work only happens when you are there. I was ill in the morning one day so they all gave themselves the day off. Did 2hours of charity work in the 5day, find an alternative.
