BOTI FALLS
Although seasonal in
nature, the Boti Falls always gives you a refreshing experience when it
comes in season.
The spectacular sceneries that would behold you as you make your way
through the tropical rainforest which harbors the falls is the perfect
tourism experience.
Located in the Manya Krobo district of the Eastern region of Ghana, the
Boti falls is the pride of the East. The Boti falls is actually made up
of two falls, which the locals belief is male and female, with the male
being the largest and the female being the smaller one.
When in season, the two falls merge together and when this happens a
rainbow is formed but if you ask the locals, they would tell you that
the two waterfalls are mating. Quite a humorous legend behind the
spectacular natural beauty.
On your way to the falls, you would come across some really beautiful
spectacles. In the same forest as the Boti falls, you would find the
spectacular Umbrella rock sited on a very high land thus giving you an
great aerial view of the surrounding areas.
There is also the incredible three headed palm tree, with three stems
growing from a single stem base. These and many other spectacular
sceneries await you as you make your way to Boti Falls.
